2007 QUAD Club Competition

After months of preparation, the second annual "Quad" interclub digital image competition was held on the evening of Friday, May 4th at this year's host club, Gateway Camera Club.

As I announced last night, once again at the Quad Competition, we tied for second place. But we did win in first place ribbons, as we had the most!! In any event, I really believe that all clubs were winners, as the first place club (Lynn) and the last place club (Stony Brook) were only separated by FOUR points!

As most folks probably know, the Quad is an interclub digital image competition between four clubs, Gateway, Greater Lynn, Merrimack Valley, and Stony Brook. Each club submitted one image only in each of 24 categories: Abandoned, Architecture, Bird, Bottle, Crystal, Discovery, Dizzy, Fruit, Fuzzy, Hot, In the Kitchen, It's a Small World, Moonlight, Panoramic, Rain, Shadow, Splash, Sport, Time, Train, Vibrant, Waterfall, Wheel, and Window. Images were graded from 1 to 4, running from 1st to 4th place. The club with the lowest score was the winner.
