Our club is a full-service club serving novice to advanced amateur photographers. Founded over 50 years ago, the Merrimack Valley Camera Club (MVCC) currently meets on Wednesday evenings from September through May, at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, Elm Street, North Andover, Massachusetts (directions). On a warm June day, Glenn Guaraldi led members on a photo field trip to Portland Head and Nubble Light, in Maine. Bob Ring shared the above photos of members in action and says, "What a day for a field trip! Yesterday was the Lighthouse field trip to Portland Head and Nubble Lights, and it was a fabulous day. Glenn brought great weather along with some ocean waves that were almost winter storm-like. Thanks to Glenn for organizing a great day. I'm sure that all of those who attended really enjoyed themselves AND got some great photos."

L to R: Eric, Les and Mary were among the club members that attended the annualPittsfield Hot Air Balloon Rally in Pittsfield, NH. Although weather conditions were questionable, eventually balloons took off making a great opportunity for some amazing photographs.

NECCC (New England Camera Club Council, Inc.), is an organization to which camera clubs or individuals may belong. Established in 1937, the council's purpose is to support photographers and their photo clubs through education, seminars, competitions, slide and print circuits, and conferences. Their level of membership ranges from beginning photographers to professional status. NECCC publishes a bulletin three times each year.
