"When I was new to the area (originally hailing from South Jersey/
Philadelphia area) I was in search of clubs to join. I got into
photography as a serious hobby in college, so when I came across the
MVCC website I joined (in September of 2008). Learning new tips and
receiving critique on my photos during competitions has been
beneficial in improving my skills."

Right now I use a Canon 400d with a variety of lenses from macro to
wide angle. I also have a few vintage film cameras (including a Kodak
Duaflex III) as well as a low-fi Diana+ camera which I use for that
"old-school" look. |

"Weather is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, as it's also my
profession! Besides weather, I enjoy taking photos of nature,
flowers, scenery, my travels, and people. I also have fun
experimenting with artistic and night-time photography." |
