"I began participating in photography and photo club competitions nearly
thirty (30) years ago when I lived in Rhode Island. My husband's company
relocated us to New Hampshire twenty-one (21) years ago. We began the hunt
for a new photography club where we could meet other photographers and share
the passion of printmaking and competition. We found the Merrimack Valley
Camera Club (then "The Greater Lawrence Camera Club") and found just what we
were looking for."

I first learned photography on a Canon then switched to Olympus when they
came out with the OM system (OM-2) which allowed you to determine exposure
priority, either f-stop or shutter speed. After 20 years photographing with
Olympus film SLR's, I switched back to Canon. I use a Rebel XT digital
camera and a Tamron 18-250mm zoom lens. I'm excited about photography now
more than ever. |

"I most enjoy landscape photography capturing the beauty of nature, effects
of light, and details in architecture. As a teacher, I use my camera every
day capturing my students "in action" in the classroom." |
