"A few years ago I met Les Wood at a North Andover community event. He was taking pictures of the event and spoke highly of the MVCC. He suggested I attend a meeting as a guest. I was hooked. Not only have I met many fellow photography enthusists who love sharing their ideas and knowledge about photography, I have also enjoyed participating in their many lectures and workshops.

I love being outdoors, especially on my bike. As I ride around many beautiful places, I sometimes can't help but feel a need to capture the magic on my point-and-shoot Canon Powershot SD600. I also love taking photographs of children, especially my two grandchildren. It's fun to freeze memories that I don't want to forget. For those special moments, I usually use my Nikon D40. My obsession continues after I download my pictures into picture folders. I use Photoshop CS2 to crop and enhance my favorite shots. Then I share many of them with friends and family using the Kodakgallery website."
