"I bought my first real camera (Olympus OM1) in 1978 and
have owned various 35mm's since. During the 80's & 90's I owned Canon AE1's to capture the kids growing
years. I really got the digital bug while taking "filler" photography &
Photoshop classes at Merrimack College while pursuing my degree. I learned about the club through a friend of my wife's.
My first meeting was a judging for 2007 Glennie Comp. I was blown away by the quality of the competition. I always thought I knew how to take good photos until I started coming
to MVCC. Joining the club has been a great learning experience. Since we've been member we have traveled to some great places and met
many interesting people & fellow photographers that we would not have
met otherwise."
