"I attended the 1999 NECCC in Amherst and MVCC had a
booth in the exhibition area where Dick Farelli was handing
out brochures. At my first meeting I was very impressed with
the warm, open friendliness of the members and the high quality
of the photography. I particularly like the monthly slide
and print competitions. The quality of my images improved
significantly as a result of my membership in MVCC because
I was able to learn from judges and friends who critiqued
my work. "

I am shooting digital exclusively using a Nikon D80, D40x and an Nikon Point & Shoot. My primary lens in the Nikon 18-200 with Image Stabilization but I also use a Nikon 12-24, a Sigma 105 macro with extension tubes and a Sigma 80-400 with image stabilization for wildlife. I always use a tripod. |

"I am primarily a nature photographer. Landscapes, animals, birds, foliage and
flowers are favorites. I have photographed many of the National Parks in the
Southwest and West during the past two years and this is an experience not to be
missed." |
